Kardon47
This problem didn't start until after a few months of owning my Vengeance 1500. I was playing a game one day and noticed something was a bit off with my 7.1 surround sound, so I stood in one place and turned my character around to figure out what was going on. That's when I noticed that all my sounds had been flipped. Front was now back, and left was now right. I went to the windows sound test and it confirmed my suspension. I filed a ticket with Corsair and they told me to download the new drivers, so I did. This fixed the flipped problem, but now my sound went from very loud to dear Jesus my ears are bleeding. I went back to the ticket and uninstalled the drivers and installed the old ones again like they said. This fixed my bleeding ears, but now I'm back to my sound being flipped. There is one minor difference now though, when I go to the windows sound test everything checks out. All the sounds come from the right places, but as soon as I fire up a game everything flips again. Has anyone had this problem before, and if so how do you fix it? I don't have a sound card, I just have the headset plugged into the USB 3.0 on the motherboard which is a ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3. My computer is running Windows 7 64 bit.
