Dead H100 and RMA question :(

Hello everyone,

my faithful Hydro H100 seems dead. It's pluged in but the tempratures are skyrocketing and I can't feel any vibrations from the pump any more, so I think that it's the pump that malfuctioned in some way. I cheched the molex thoroughly.

But the worst part is going to our storage room to find the H100's box (in which I kept the stock fans and the reciept) only to find out the door was left open for months and among a lot of things missing (my beloved first snowboard for crying out loud) the H100's box is gone, too :/

So to spare you the drama, I don't have the original box, nor the fans, but I don't care RMAimg my Enermax fans with the Hydro, or RMA the unit without the fans and receive another unit without fans or something... Is that an option? I have every mounting bit and screws and I can ship the unit safely in another strong box.

Help me out please, and if you see a b@stard with a nice snowboard and two corsair fans, give me a hola

The box is no big deal, you can use any box you want as long as it's packaged well.

I'm not sure what to tell you about the fans , or if they will require them to be sent along with it or not. Generally they do, but just use the link on the left to get your RMA started and explain the situation to them. See what comes of it.

As far as the box goes, you could do an advance RMA with a credit card. Then send the bad one back in the new box. My guess is that they won't care about the fans since Corsair doesn't make the h100 anymore. You will get a h100i under the RMA. But I don't work for Corsair, so take it with a grain of salt. :)

You might want to just call them.

^ that would be lovely. I hope I get an answer for the fans too, so to get things moving by the next week.

It's a pity the stupid thing died - it was a silent unit (no noises & such) and it still looks painfully new. Not even fingerprints on it :/
