Danidasanic
Hi, This is normal for a 80+ platinum psu ? http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/6759/testaxi.png Uploaded with ImageShack.us
peanutz94
80.7% at full GPU load. I would tend to think that is spot on.
Danidasanic
are u joking ? U can stress ur gpu in deferent ways using kombustor . What i can see is about 20% load (psu) at low eficiency with this particular psu. This psu is good for rma , right ?
peanutz94
are u joking ? U can stress ur gpu in deferent ways using kombustor No i wasn't. It's hard to see from your pic. I see 100% GPU load and a PSU running at 80% efficiency. And as long as your system is stable and running fie there would be no need to RMA the PSU. Danidasanic
hmm , so u are saying that is just stupid to spend too much €'s for an psu that can't deliver "platinum" numbers ?! ok... ooouuww man , this psu wants to scare me ...i received a warning alert from asus sensor 14.1v in 12v rail  btw: If this psu blows up something in my pc , corsair will refund me ? peanutz94
There have been quite a few other reporting the ASUS software providig improper voltage alerts. At 14v the PC would refuse to turn on and if by chance it would you would have fried something by now. What are the voltages being reported in your BIOS for all three rails? btw: If this psu blows up something in my pc , corsair will refund me ? If the PSU would fail they would replace it yes. And if it would happen to damage any other comonents you could fill out a damage claim form. But I really believe what your seeing is inconsistencies in the software. Both CL and the ASUS software. If you have access to a multi-meter you could get accurate readings with one of those and that would be the best way to go about testing the PSU if you can. Software just cant be trusted! Also i believe if you used something like a Kill-a-Watt meter you would see the true efficiency of the PSU and not what is being reported. Danidasanic
Thank you for ur replies Peanutz I know , u probably be right about this "inconsistencies" but its strange to have them since few days ago . yesterday i uninstalled the corsair software just to check if he is causing this problems with sensors. Normally my voltages are 12.0xx V , 5.0xx V and 3.296 V
contrvlr
Hi, This is normal for a 80+ platinum psu ? http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/6759/testaxi.png Uploaded with ImageShack.us At ~20% load that psu tested ~92% efficient by Ecova http://www.plugloadsolutions.com/psu_reports/CORSAIR_75-001305_860W_ECOS%203323_Report.pdf Not a fan of Ecova because they only test at 23ºC ? Check the results at Jonnyguru http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story3&reid=317 Just under 90% eff. at ~20% load, if you click thru to the next page the CL software agreed I would hope that the efficiency reading in your screen shot is wrong

The only reason I bought this PSU was because (I thought) this PSU could deliver platinum standard efficiency from (what I understand) 20% load. Thus far (from what I understand by reading my CorsairLINK2 logs) my AX760i hasn't been close to deliver what's been advertised (both in the manual and on the PSU box). Quite disappointed. Still waiting and hoping that I get some feedback on my logs. Here's a quote from RAM GUY regarding the efficiency of the AX760i from the post AX760i efficiency in CorsairLink? over at Customer Care. You would have to be above 40-50% load to get 90% efficiency, from the screen shot the PSU is fine. Best Regards Jimmie
