jonc101
Has anybody got any advice on what to do to counter stripping the screw hole on the AF140 fans when mounting these inside a case? I've got 3 of these fans in my case and I've been able to *very carefully and very slowly* mount them into the case with very gentle twisting of the screw but one of the fans it appears the rubber grommets have stripped so I'm unable to secure this particular fan to the case. Is this a known problem with these fans, am I doing something wrong? I *am* being as gentle as I possibly can be when turning the screwdriver... Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 12, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 12, 2013 There is nothing wrong with the mounting holes on these fans. You do not have to make it tight when securing them and do not force it all the way, just enough to hold the fan.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 12, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 12, 2013 You can either have it swapped out with your re seller, probably faster or you can use link on the left and submit an RMA request.
