Mawa
Whilst following advice from TheRamguy and disconnecting the fans from my pump header to connect to the motherboard I noticed that the Y Fan Splitter was no longer attached to the block, the connector was still firmly attached to the block but the wires themselves had come out. What am I supposed to do now? I was only trying to see if the whine was coming from the block or the fans. So far really unhappy with the service considering I've had to contact corsair via the Tech Support Express twice, one email to Henry Ho, then got told to RMA then got an email stating i'd receive an RMA update within 24hrs (29th of March), On the 4th of April I get in touch with the support email address to get an email stating I'd receive a response within 8 business hours and that was 4days ago. Can't help but feel I'm being fobbed off. To be honest I'm just not very happy at all, this H100i was bought to replace a h60 which worked much better and gave me better performance. I would really appreciate it if someone could contact me to sort this out. Speed
The individual connectors appear to be intact. Remove the Y cable plug and push them back into it. This can really only happen if pulling on the cable, not the plug itself. IIRC, there is a latch keeper on the plug, so that must be depressed to get it to come free. Yes, they are small and difficult to deal with but that is the only way to ensure that conductors won't get yanked out of their containers. Mawa
I tried putting them back in again and they seemed to lock back into place but then came back out when re-attaching the pump block back on to the motherboard. I now don't have that much faith in it anyway and would rather have a replacement considering its brand new. Besides this I am still waiting for someone to respond to me regarding multiple emails and an rma request 12 days ago. I don't think it's too much to ask that someone contacts me considering I spent £100 and havent had it working properly and its less than a month old. See my other thread on this forum for further details. Does anyone know If I would be able to take it back to the store and get my money back? I really don't want to have to mess around with all this as I've bought Corsair components for the last 13yrs but I'm a little let down by the lack of customer service now. See my other thread on this forum for further details. It would be best to contact them by phone if possible. Have you created a support account? You should be able to log into it and see your case and any possible responses left by support. If the noise is coming from the fans, then RMA' the fans. If the noise is actually coming from the pump them RMA the whole unit. If you end up RMA'ing it you would get another y cable anyway. But if you look close on one side of the metel connector you'll see a little tab of metal that would be the keeper. Just bend it outwards a little bit and it should stay locked in the plastic connector. Does anyone know If I would be able to take it back to the store and get my money back? Thats up to where ever you bought it from. If they are willing to let you return it then thats up to you.
Darkwing
you should have a second cable? unless you are using push/pill than you'e out of luck. I had the same thing happening to one of the digital link cables, they are very difficult to handle and get destroyed easily.
Mawa
The noise is definitely when the stock 3 pin fans are connected to the block, since this latest issue I've had to plug the fans into my fan controller and the whine has stopped altogether. All I want is replacement 4 pin PWM fans and Y Fan Splitter, I've just received an RMA telling me to send the entire unit back to the Netherlands which is going to cos a small fortune and leave me without a PC for two weeks. Do I really need to send the whole lot back?

There should only be one spltter ...wll thats 12v only. The other is a 7v step down unit. Do I really need to send the whole lot back? Reply back to the case and let them know you need just the new PWM fans and a splitter. Ignore the part about sending the unit back. That is auto generated and does not apply. You will be required to send nothing back.
Mawa
Is there any chance someone at Corsair could chase this up, I last received a response stating to "Ignore the automated message" and that it would be passed along to Customer Service. "They will get back to you regarding this matter" That was 6 days ago, its been nearly a month since I first contacted Tech Support to get this issue sorted, not happy at this level of customer service. I know someone will say to ring but unfortunately I work nights so am at work when their Support dept is open so am unable to do this. If THERAMGUY could please look into this i'd appreciate it.
