CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9 + Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H?

I recently purchased a 16GB Kit of Corsair Dominator 1866, and I had been noticing some system stability issues. I quickly began running Memtest 86 while running at 1866, which began throwing errors. So I put the memory at 1333MHz, and it ran fine, then proceeded to do the same at 1600 and it also ran fine there. Then I proceeded to turn the XMP profile on again and booted into Memtest 86 at 1866 and quickly got errors again, any suggestions on what changes I should make to get them working at 1866? Kinda silly for me to buy 1866 memory and run it at 1600. :)

EDIT: I forgot to mention what voltages I'm using and BIOS revision. I am running at all stock voltages, 1.50v RAM 1.05v VTT, CPU is at stock voltage. Running BIOS revision 17f (BETA BIOS).

EDIT2: Raised the voltage from 1.50v to 1.60v and it's running fine now? 1.55v still gave errors. Does this sound reasonable?

Thanks

Rob

Yes, and that was my next suggestion. If it's stable at 1.6v then leave it there. It's not uncommon to have to add extra voltage for the overclock

I downgraded the BIOS from B17f to F16 and so far I've ran two passes on Memtest86 w/ 1.515v without any crashes. I believe it to be a BIOS issues since I didn't even have to raise the IMC voltage at all. How many passes of Memtest are recommended before it's considered stable? I usually run 24 hours of Prime 95, but I've never ran Memtest86 for more than a few passes.

EDIT: 2x Passes of Memtest86, which I couldn't get through 1 1/2 before. Now I'm onto nearly an hour of Prime95. I guess it was the beta BIOS causing me all of the troubles. Still running 1.515v (1.50v reported voltage) without any added IMC voltage. Possible success! Wish me luck! lol
