h100i LEDs

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I only have green left on my h100i, everything else is working as intended.

is it physically broken or should I hold on to hopes that a FW/SW update will fix down the road? I thought I remembered reading something in the forums that a FW update was around the corner that could fix my (our) LED issues?

- Thanks

I also have this problem! Both my red and green appears to be dead, but the blue one works great. I actually saw the green one broke. It was flashing rapidly until it suddenly stopped. Corsair thought I would send my H100i to them in the Netherlands, but it's gonna cost me about 40$ to do that. :(

Edit: Both my red and green was dead, but today the red one started to work again. This seems very weird...

Try unplugging every USB device except your mouse. Boot up your computer and then navigate to the LINK2 software and see if it then detects.

ok not sure if my computer would boot then because one of the usbs connects to my usb i think or actually i think its for my power and disk usage LED but ill try that later...you mean like disconnect every single thing from the motherboard or what?...if you mean actual usbs only have keyboard and wireless mouse transmitter connected to my usbs...i really dont think thats the problem though...but who knows...

Disconnect anything that uses USB. (Keyboards, USB Drives, etc.) The only USB device you should keep is your mouse. (Otherwise Navigation is obviously impossible.) Basically you're removing anything that can conflict with the H100i (I found my Logitech G15 Keyboard was the cause of most of the conflicts and as soon as I unplugged it before booting, LINK2 would see my H100i.)

ok so just unplug my keyboard? dont unplug my power light LED disk light LED fans usb power plugs...nothing like that...got it

Basically yeah. Don't forget to post an update to say if that's worked or not. (Try rebooting your system at least 2 times if it doesn't detect before making a verdict.) :D

ok ill do it sometime maybe not today...oh also is it normal that if i switch the plugs the H80i fans go into like they plug into the H80i block right? so if i switch them that only the inside fan works and not the outside fan?...you know the H80i comes with 2 fans...ok so like what im trying to say is theres 2 plugs for the fans because theres 2 fans...if i switch the plugs that i plug into the fans only one fan works...but if i switch the plug that the fan doesnt work and unplug the fan that it does work and plug the one that it doesnt work into the one that...ok im confusing myself...IF I UNPLUG the fan that i...ugh stupid adhd cant concentrate now :( ok...lol...if i unplug the fan that does work when only one of them works and plug the fan that didnt work into the plug that worked for the other fan then it works...so its not like that 1 plug doesnt work...just doesnt work for that specific fan...basically what im trying to say lol

(HAVENT TRIED NO KEYBOARD THING YET) but with the link like first time i tried it gave my whole computer like 5 frames per second lol and second time i tried my disk usage was 100% but like first when i booted computer it was fine but like 5min later it started getting REALLY slow and then like 1 min later it froze my computer...and resource manager (in task manager) said first like 200000 bytes per second which is like... 2 or 20mb? and then said 0kb/s but still said 100% disk usage...and my cpu was low...wasnt like that was the problem then i just tried to open the start menu to restart my computer...it took 15 seconds for it to pop up! i just did a hard restart...also usually gives me a 15 second delay on bios if i keep it plugged in while i boot my computer...well havnt tried the no USB besides mouse but ill have to try that...doubt it will do anything...oh and btw i have a solid state drive which usually gets like 350mb/s read and 250mb/s write so i dont see how 200000 bytes per second and 100% disk usage is normal...
