I3lackcat777
Hello, just installed my new H80i last night I used the pre applied paste and after everything was installed tested the cooler out. A pretty instant blue screen error after running prime or Intel burn test. This morning reseated the unit and only half of the cold plate looked like it was on, so really tried some pressure and everything to ensure I had good connection this time. But still same results. And one more time, still same thing. And after removing the cold plate the 2nd time it seemed it had a good spread of the paste. Arctic silver 5 is the paste I'm using after the preapplied stuff had to be removed. Any info on how to solve this would be much appreciated. And I'll gladly answer any questions that you have about the set up.
Bryman
Are you sure the pump is actually running? Because if your sure that its seated on right and you have thermal paste on then you shouldn't be getting these problems... Also make sure if you over clocked that it had enough voltage
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 11, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 11, 2013 Check your BIOS and see if the pump is running around 2000rpm. Your pump is probably dead.
