gino3298
A while back I was attempting to put a new motherboard in and I unplugged everything as carefully as I could as not to damage any wires and put the ASUS P8Z77-V Pro in, plugged everything in and nothing would turn on, and there is no power button the board itself. I took it back out and put the ASRock back in and the power button still wouldn't work but there is a boot on the board itself so I can use it, I'm just now getting around asking for help on it. Do you think I might have damaged the cord that goes from the power button to the motherboard or would it be another issue? If so, how would I replace the power button cord or what could the other issue be?
peanutz94
Are you sure you have them plugged in correctly? There is a + and - side to the connectors. If they are backwards they wont work. I might have damaged the cord that goes from the power button to the motherboard or would it be another issue? If so, how would I replace the power button cord or what could the other issue be? You can submit an RMA for the case and ask for just the front I/O panel. They can be replaced without having to send in the entire case and are just held in by a couple of screws. wytnyt
the connector that hooks to the i/o plate falls loose VERY easy,it may be worthwhile to recheck that
