Praedo
hello there. i just buyed a week ago a water cooling H80i, mounted it following the intructions (only difference i had to mount the radiator upside down due to case issues) and plugged it to usb/sata/cpu fan power connectors. after installing the link software i noticed some weird things: the temp of the cooler is usually higher than the CPU's (talking bout 10-15 degreees celsius higher) and it doesnt have the "normal fluctuations" that the other temps usually have. other problem is the red led issue, but i rode enaught bout it to know that it's a common issue. Last but not least it's a really low ticking noise (seems the pump to me) that occurs when the PC is shutted down, only way to stop it is to turn off the power supply. i tried to solve the issue upgrading the firmware but nothing happened, any ideas? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 11, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 11, 2013 the temp of the cooler is usually higher than the CPU's (talking bout 10-15 degreees celsius higher) and it doesnt have the "normal fluctuations" that the other temps usually have. What temps are we looking at here? Last but not least it's a really low ticking noise (seems the pump to me) that occurs when the PC is shutted down, only way to stop it is to turn off the power supply. Check the pump's rpm and see if its running where it should be, 2000rpm.
