Radamlo
Hi, First of all, I want to apologize about my bad English because I'm French but I'll try to keep it clean! So as the title of the post said, I got a problem with the installation of the driver for my Corsair Vengeance 1500 Headset. When I tried to install it, the only thing I get in the properties is that "the device is not working (code 10)". At least the problem is not the headset because it work with the "windows default" driver. The DXDIAG report is attached to the post + a screen of the headset properties in Windows (fr version, sry for that) if it can help ;) If you got any ideas, it will be great :sunglasse Thanks by advance, Regard, RadamloDxDiag.txt
Toasted
Have you tried reinstalling the drivers? Have you tried a different USB port? Disable any on-board drivers in the BIOS and see if that helps.
Radamlo
Hi Toasted. I've already tried to change the USB slot + uninstall/re-install the driver for 4 slots. Which driver do you think that I have to disable on the BIOS? Thanks by advance, Radamlo
Toasted
Sorry, what i meant was on-board Audio in the BIOS. Refer to your user's guide to access the laptop's BIOS.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 3, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 3, 2013 Can you test the headset on a different machine to see if the USB plug on the headset has a problem?

Radamlo
So after numerous tentative of uninstalling/re-installing the drivers of my sound card and/or usb ports, the driver was still bugging with the code 10 error. But I finally find the way to made the driver of the headset working: I've disable the driver of the headset which was not working on my USB slot 2, then I just put the headset on the USB slot 3 and this time, the driver was functioning. I rly think that soft is an obscure science... I rly prefer hard which is my work domain (trust me, I'm a designer!). I hope that this solution can help other people in my case!
