coarsehair
Ive now rebooted enough times to realised that the h80i sensor readings are nill, not responding after my pc has come out of sleep? when i reboot the link2 software is working fine !!?! using latest verison of link2 software hope that helps your devs? Im not sure if its s5 of s3 type of sleep but it definatly breaks some widgets dsiplays (the devices inside pc case appear fine ie fans spinning no led etc so i assume its ok ,,,) asus p9x79 board + laetst link software
Speed
Even though you state "latest link software", it sounds like you're on an earlier CL version. CL2.3 doesn't run Sierra2 service, although it is in there in different clothes, so to speak. My P9X79 Deluxe running Win8 comes out of sleep with no issues... unlike myself. OK, that rings a bell. Check your power settings in the Power Options Control Panel and also in Device Manager. There are choices for whether the system puts the USB bus to sleep to save power. Set them to always on. My take is that the connection is lost when the system goes into power save mode and does not reconnect. There's a lot of USB devices in Device Manager. On my board, only the hubs have the setting, but check them all to be sure you didn't miss one.
