kenny6
Hello, i have recently purchased a corsair link with 2 cooling nodes so that i can run 7 noctua NF-F12 fans from but have been having issues where the fans work absolutely fine at 800RPM for like an hour and then they all start dropping like flies and run at 0RPM. the only way i have found to fix it is to re-flash the cooling node to 1.2.5 but then in another hour it will just happen again . i am running corsair commander FW2.0.6 both cooling nodes are FW1.2.5 corsair link software is 2.1.1, i have tried 2.3.4815 but have the same issue can any one help me
Toasted
Have you tried other modes? Does it do the same thing?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 8, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 8, 2013 And I would try and set the fans to a fixed RMA like 1000 RMA and see if they stay running. With some after market fans once they drop bellow a certain point they can shut down and will not turn back on again till the system is restarted. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 8, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 8, 2013 Well actually it is set by % and I would set it to about 45% to 55% and see if the fans stay running.
