fabriken
Hi there! I've used TX650w PSU for 4 years now and today something wierd happend. At first, the whole room smelled wierd and I didn't know why. My computer worked as usual. Finally I figured out that it was the computer that was smelling. I located the smell to the PSU and I quickly shut down the computer and saw a little smoke coming out from the PSU. I tried to clean my computer from eventuall dust and I booted it again and the smell came again... Is there anything I can do or do I have to return it? I don't dare to turn on my computer again cuz I dont want to ruin other components and start a fire...
peanutz94
Don't use it and have it replaced. If you are still within your warranty period please use the link on the left to request an RMA.
fabriken
TY for the answer. Under what category should i place it in problem description? "The PSU is DOA"? "The product has damage or missing parts"? Never done this before :)
peanutz94
I would put it in the damage /missing parts category.
