Kashim
Hello, I'm interested in the K90 for a replacement for my Saitek keyboard which has been plaguing me with intermittent glitches since I purchased it. The question I put to anyone who can answer this is do the media keys function for playing, pausing and skipping songs on a media player whilst you have another window/program up? For example, whilst typing this post I can skip tracks on windows media player using my Saitek keyboard whilst not having to bring that program to the 'front'. Thanks in advance. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 29, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 29, 2013 It depends on the player. For example, I just tested it for you and I can use media buttons on WMP without it being at the front but it did not work with VLC (that had to be the active window). Daedalus1626863556
Same with my media keys (Fn keys on a QPad MK-80) which leads me to believe it's an OS implementation, not a Corsair-specific driver feature.
Kashim
Well that's interesting, I wonder if any keyboard with media keys will do that then if its built into Windows by default. Thanks alot for testing that for me, I know it works for this keyboard at least :)
