DanSireUK
Hi, I have a H100 which I purchased about a year ago. For the last few months it has been making a clicking/ticking sound on a cold boot, and gradually gets quieter until it stops entirely within a few minutes. No issues with temps or performance other than that. I do have it running on a fan controller and it has been for the last year as I remember there was an issue with the motor noise and that helped to silence it. This sounds completely different though. Could this be air bubbles in the system? It doesn't particularly bother me as long as it continues to stop, but want to check it is nothing more serious? Thanks!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 1, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 1, 2013 I would also check the pump's rpm in the BIOS and see if its running consistently around 2200rpm. Pump running erratically can cause the pump to generate noise.
