playboysmoov
Came home and powered on the computer to check my email... I started to smell smoke. Wife came in and verified that she smelled smoke as well. Open up the case and smoke was coming from area near PSU. I powered off the unit, flipped the power switch and unplugged the AC plug. Upon inspection noticed that one of the modular cables was fried and would not detach from PSU. Never experienced anything like this before. Is this covered by warranty? http://i.imgur.com/hRZu8bn.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/dk4ugwr8jxzlrl9/2013-03-27%2017.10.11.jpg
peanutz94
Yes, it's covered. Just use the link on the left to request an RMA and have it replaced. PS, could you please resize that pic to something smaller . It makes the forum pages HUGE. :P
