rdeyoung
Hey guys, I have a bizarre request. Id like to modify the "control panel" of the 600T case, but the only way to do what I plan on doing is by totally recreating it from scratch. Originally I was planning on modeling it on the computer and sending it to a 3D printing machine, but then I realized that the odds of getting the measurements 100% right and having the same tight fit is extremely slim. So I was wondering if maybe an exact model is available somewhere for this piece that I can use to assist me... im hoping maybe someone from corsair can chime in on this too
peanutz94
Sorry, but your going to have to measure that yourself. Calipers or micrometers would get you more accurate measurements, but corsair isn't going to release any CAD models of their components. One other option is to take the piece to a fabrication shop. Some of them can take pics of the item and have the measurements sent directly into CAD and spit you out a model.
rdeyoung
Yea I figured as much - but I thought id ask anyways  I didnt realize it, but that panel is also the same piece that goes around the whole case. I would have to cut it off if I wanted to replace it with a differently layed out version. I might just take a thin piece of aluminum with the layout I want and attach it over the existing. Oh wells
