grgclc Posted March 27, 2013 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Hi , sorry to bother with yet another thread but i couldn't find anything about the pump vibrating, so i just got my h80i today , very excited, the fans are with 4 pins(was a bit worried since most ppl were complaining about fans noise), but the pump is making a high noise, very annoying, and i put my fingers on the hoses they vibrate, and the pump too , do i have to send it back to the store or is there a fix for it ? thanks so much l.e: forgot to mention i used latest corsair link, the firmware is 1.0.5, lot:13039433 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 28, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 28, 2013 It is normal for a pump to vibrate to a certain extent, it is a good indication that the pump is working. As for the noise/high pitch, try connecting the fan directly to the MB and see if the noise goes away. Try to isolate the noise and see if its coming from the fans or the pump. grgclc Posted March 31, 2013 Author Share Posted March 31, 2013 thanks for the reply, the fans had nothing do to with it, it vibrate very hard and making noise with and without the fans, i sent it back, not to be rude or anything but i ll get an decent air cooler instead, cba to wait this much for an expensive product that i v waited so long and even then when i get a new one back there a chance it will be faulty(read somewhere a guy rma 3-4 times...) anyway i hope u guys learn from this and tighten up your quality assurance departament Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
