GhostHuntr
Hi, I've been a fan of Corsair for a long time, and had a Corsair H60 cooler in use for the last year. Recently I changed to an H110, and kept the H60 on a shelf for use in my 2nd computer. When I picked up the H60 to install it, I found the coolerhead was leaky. Then I sent it in to the computer-supplier where I bought it, and they've now spent 2 weeks on it, and telling me that they sent it to you guys at Corsair and await your comment. Is it normal that they should send it in and then it takes more than 2 weeks when it's such an obvious fault? Also a small question about the H110: is it possible to change the tubes between the head and the radiator? Because I'd like to install it in a Fractal Design Define XL in the buttom compartment, but the tubes are too short. Thanks in advance
Administrators Technobeard Posted March 26, 2013 Administrators Share Posted March 26, 2013 The tubes are not removable on any of our coolers. That would void the warranty. As for why it's been 2 weeks, there isn't enough info to say why. It could depend on when they sent it in, how they sent it in (shipping type and what type of RMA they did), etc. I'd recommend asking the store about the timeframe. Darkwing
also be careful that this computer0supplier doesn't charge you any "repair costs"......
GhostHuntr
Well, me neither, but now I have to wait till after Easter Holiday :( And I've also changed my mind about installing my system in my Define XL. I bought a Fractal Arc Midi R2 instead, which should have room for everything. Another small question though: when will it be possible to buy new PWM 140mm fans like those that came with the H110? One of mine broke a wing :(
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 1, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 1, 2013 Another small question though: when will it be possible to buy new PWM 140mm fans like those that came with the H110? One of mine broke a wing :( AFAIK, they are not available at the moment, but they will be available on our website down the road.
GhostHuntr
Well, I gave up on the Fractal Design Define XL case, and went and bought a Fractal Design Arc Midi R2, and got the H110 to fit in the front with a push/pull configuration. What a beauty :P http://peecee.dk/upload/view/406760 http://peecee.dk/upload/view/406761
