Possible H60 pump fault?

Hi everyone

So installed my new H60 the other day and everything seems to be fine operating temps under normal use around 30 degrees which seems fine with intensive gaming going up to around 70 and prime95 taking it to around 75 which is a little higher than i was expecting but not causing any issues.

then i noticed that there was a little buzz coming from my h60 which i initially thought was to be expected as there is a pump in there after all but i saw the sticky up here about the issue being widespread and RMA's being offered for affected units and now im not sure if my unit is faulty or not?

checked my 12v in bios as per the sticky - mines running at 12.144 with occasional split second jumps to 12.196 but didn't see it go over 12.2v

please advise! :)

update

long story short saw the age of the sticky and then lowered my fan speed - problem solved. But do i have to put up with the buzzy rattling noise when my fans spin up (or cough up for a new fan, more likely) or have corsair said anything about dodgy fans?

also another quick question - the h60 setup guide, corsair product page and everyone on the internet all seem to have different opinions on the best fan and radiator setup (the corsair product page actually shows it with the radiator against the case and the fan facing the inside). has anyone discovered and solid answers on this?

thanks guys

If you are sure that the noise is coming from the fan, then we can always send you a replacement fan. You can submit an RMA request and explain the issue.

From our own experience (and mine), there will never be a correct answer. Each system is going to be different and somehow unique on its own. These are close loop system so orientation of the radiator will not matter. Fan orientation however is a bit different, you will need to try different orientations in conjunction with your case fans and see what set up can produce the best air flow/result and just go from there.
