Hello,

just a quick question. I currently own Asus Maximus V Formula motherboard and I am going to buy this nice RAM kit, because I want all the ram slots full.

But I could not find any 4x4 GB DDR3 1866Mhz kit in our country.

So I am asking, is it possible to get to work these two kits together? - 2x Corsair 8GB KIT DDR3 1866MHz CL9 Dominator Platinum?

Thank you very much. :o:

Hi teeejay

It possible to get to work these two kits together. But as i5 3570k have a DDR3-1333/1600 memory controller. It may not be stable over 1600MHz and as Corsair don't Support the mixing ove memory kits your could have trouble with them.

Hope this help

Sincerly yours

So if I buy 1600Mhz x2, it should be perfectly compatible and stable? :o:

There is just no way to tell if any two random kits would work with each other ...even if they are the same exact part numbers. If the 4x4 kit is not available to you in your country i would suggest ordering them from the Corsair store. They will ship worldwide. But trying to mix two unmatched kits can be hit or miss , so no one can really answer your question. All you can do is try and hope for the best.

There is no way you can back that up . It may be perfectly stable at 1866mhz. All the OP can do is try it and see.
