VasVas
Hi all, What's the best and most acurate method to monitor the pump's rpm? I get different readings from my bios compared to the Link software. Bios reports ~2300rpm and Link ~2190rpm. Which one is right? Also, if 2300rpm is correct, isn't it a bit too fast for the pump? My 12v rail reads 12.196v. I have the latest firmware 1.0.5 & latest Link2 software and can hear a tiny grinding noise, not as bad as some have reported but I can hear it in a very quiet environment, type hdd noise. Is this normal for these units? I mean, can a pump be noiseless? Even if you stick your ear on it?? Thx
madmecca1975
2190 sounds about right for its speed mine does about 2150. Mine makes a slight noise very quiet I take it as being normal as it moving parts don't think it would be possible to have it completely noise less

A bit annoying.

VasVas
My fans (SP120s) are mounted horizontally pushing air out of the case (exhaust). The rad noise occurs with fans disconnected as well.. It's a faint noise like an old HDD in activity.
