Ckeating
Hi I can't find a definitive answer on this. Is the 32 Gig memory kit - CMZ32GX3M4X1600C10, compatible with the P8Z77-V Pro? The board will not post with any of the sticks, in any configuration - single channel, dual channel, all 4 installed. The Corsair memory configurator does NOT list this kit, but some of the forums posts say it should be fine? ASUS advised me to ask Corsair first on compatibility before returning the mobo. Any tips to determine if it's the board or the memory??? Thanks.
peanutz94
Yes, they are TOTALY compatible. If none of the sticks individually will let the board post , then it has to be a DOA board. Vengeance memory is designed specifically for the latest CPUs. Vengeance modules are available in 1.5V and 1.35V configurations for maximum compatibility with all Intel® Core™ i3, i5 and i7 processors, as well as the 2nd generation Intel Core processor family. With dual channel, triple channel, and quad channel kits, there's a Vengeance configuration that's perfect for your motherboard. http://www.corsair.com/us/memory-by-product-family/vengeance/vengeance-32gb-quad-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz32gx3m4x1600c10.html
