JackieTran
So I have the infamous noise problem on my power supply. It's look late to send it into RMA because i've opened it up. What is actually the problem here? The fan or the fan controller? Can I fix the problem my switch out the fans or do I have to take out the fan controller? - If I take out the fan controller, will it be ok? I only need any constant RPM, I don't need any smart fan options
Polsom
I was told its the fan controller making the ridiculous noise on mine, im not sure if all of them do it but tell us how it goes if you manage to get yours to stop

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 28, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 28, 2013 Changing the fan/fan controller will automatically void your warranty, opening the PSU will be the same as well. Can you be more specific with the noise? Do you hear the noise under load? or you hear it all the time?
