cwf
Hey there, Thinking about getting a Vengeance C70 for my next build and was wondering if it is possible to rotate the C70's acrylic window so both fan grill openings are on the bottom instead of the left hand side? Cheers CWF PS: Any chance Corsair is going to introduce plain acrylic windows as I'm not to keen on cutting my own acrylic window?
peanutz94
Thinking about getting a Vengeance C70 for my next build and was wondering if it is possible to rotate the C70's acrylic window so both fan grill openings are on the bottom instead of the left hand side? I don't believe so. The mounts on the inside of the panel prevent that...I believe. Not 100% sure, but it's that way on my 650D PS: Any chance Corsair is going to introduce plain acrylic windows as I'm not to keen on cutting my own acrylic window? Corsair won't discuss or even hint to future products. However you could pop out your existing window and any good plastic shop would cut you one for very little money. jlhawn
I have a C70, the window will only rotate one way that puts the fan holes in front of the hard drive cages. I did my window replacement myself, paid 20 bucks for a 1/8 inch thick smoked acrylic window then bought small black rubber washers as you will need them to take up the space between the new window and the mounting post in the brackets as the original window is molded and has small post where the screws go through, so make sure a replacement is 1/8 inch thick, once you get the case and remove the window you will see what I mean by needing washers. it fits and looks factory. click on my profile and you can see my window mod. cwf
Thanks for the info guys. It looks like I might just do that. Wanted to get a laser engraved image of the 101st Airborne logo in the acrylic anyway (part of the theme) so it definitely looks like a custom job it will have to be.
