gonza1361
I have a coarsair hx650 and there's a weird thing happiness in my house. When my neighbors dusk to dawn light turns on I get a buzzing in my psu and when they turn off in the morning the buzzing goes away. He's using those power saving cfls and I have one of those smart meters in my power line installed by the electric company. Can the cfls be causing a problem with my smart meter. The buzzing starts off low and gradually gets louder.
peanutz94
Sure can , especially if you live in a place that may have older wiring both in the house and out at the street. Thats pretty obvious there is something about the wiring coming in from outside is your issue. I don't know if the electric company would come out for that or not. But i would contact them and let them know.
gonza1361
I had the electric company come out and they said everything on their side was good. Is there something I can use like a line conditioner to fix the problem? The electric company is suppose to replace my smart meter with a analog meter but their lagging it and said it can take up to a month or more to have a technician come out and replace it. peanutz94
. Is there something I can use like a line conditioner to fix the problem? T I really wish i had an answer for you. But other than to try it , tht is all I an suggest. I would hate to see you spend the money for a line conditioner if it isn't going to help. gonza1361
I was gonna tell my neighbor to try using regular bulbs to see if the problem would go away.
