Peckham
I currently have a h60v2 with corsair support for rma#5680351 in which the water pump failed and processor overheated. When the pump failed the cpu forced a shutdown as it hit it's max temp, however ever since I have been getting intermittent bcc124 bsod's, (dumplog to follow), I think this is due to damage to the cpu when the cooling system failed. Does the warranty on the h60v2 also cover damage to other components? as I am not sure if the processor is still in it's warranty period, or if it will even be covered for this problem. Following dumps are produced from a completely fresh win 7 install, with no programs at all installed. It will sometimes even do this booting from the dvd so it's definitely not a driver issue. Oh, and my reason for thinking its processor damage is the glaring FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: X64_0x124_GenuineIntel_PROCESSOR_MAE in the dump. However if someone with more experience with these logs believes it to be something else please let me know. A quick google search finds people suggesting this bsod is common due to graphics card failure, and as mine is still covered by warranty, I would actually prefer that to be the case.
