steto91
Hi! When I got my K60 keyboard about a month ago, I noticed that the media keys was switched around. Today I decided to fix it myself and so i started to take it apart. Everything went well i thought, until I saw a small spring laying on my lap. Since I don't have a clue were this spring came from, I hope someone here could help me with this little puzzle :)
Toasted
I may be wrong but i don't think the K60 uses any springs. its either membrane or switches. Keep the spring in a safe location and wait for RAM GUY's reply.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 17, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 17, 2013 I'm not aware of any springs under the keys either.
stratosrally
As long as all of your keys have full function, you should be fine. Cherry MX keys (like the Reds used in the Vengeance keyboards) do use springs, though: http://media.bestofmicro.com/Y/P/291553/original/animation_cherry_mx_red.gif It may have been an extra that was somehow trapped under another key, because even removing Cherry keycaps doesn't expose the spring: http://www.everythingusb.com/images/list/corsair-vengeance-k60-keyboard-keyswitch.jpg
