Chivalry
Ok i received my new PC from chillblast and i think the h100i i had installed is alot noisier than i was expecting according to reviews i had read.. Made a quick 20 sec video on my phone to give a rough idea what it sounds like.. Its not the case fans or graphics card... its definatly coming from the top f the case where the H100i rad and fans are :( https://www.dropbox.com/s/rmuibz7fs5qsxtu/2013-03-16%2003.23.00.mp4 hope that works.... Next.. temps? My room is an ambient 21c my cpu is running at 4.4 at 1.226 volts.. and im idling at between 35 / 39 across the 4 cores.... at load in prime or 3d mark its hitting around 70-72ish... that seem normal?? Thanks for any advice :)

Chivalry
just set both fans to 500rpm and the noise died right down... but was still audible.. so its coming from the fans.. :/
madmecca1975
I have 3570k overclocked to 4.2 with oc genie and h100i 20c ambient idle 34 to 37 under intel burn test goes to 55 to 60 c which fans does it have have they got three pins or four. If they have three do an rma they will send you four pin fans for free
Chivalry
noticed if i shut 1 fan down at a time that 1 is alot noisier than the other.. .. half tempted to just spend 30 quid and grab 2 noctua NFF12PWM fans... as they work perfectly with the 100i and are just awesome.. :)
madmecca1975
Just rma the fans get replacements for free and you don't have to send others back saves 30 quid
