Hello,

I am having trouble with a 2 * 1 gb kit. Motherboard is not reading spd data right and automatically sets them at lowest speed. To make matters worse I also have 2 more ddr2 - 5400 (non-corsair) that I wish to combine.

Is it possible for the xms2 6400 to run at 1.8v?

on the module it says: 5-5-5-18 @ 1.9v (ver 7.6)

the other two modules are px5400 : 5-5-5-20 @ 1.8v.

what are my options?

thanks.

It's not going to hurt anything if that is what your asking. If you can get them to run at 1.8v thats fine.

Motherboard is not reading spd data right and automatically sets them at lowest speed.

The MB will always set to the lowest speed until changed manually in your BIOS. It will use "default" settings or the slowest speed to ensure a successful boot. Then you can change them in your BIOS.

You can try what you like, but there is just no way to tell if ANY two random kits will work together...Even if they were the same exact kits.

Those are two totally different sets with different requirements. So IF they would run together you might be forced to run them at a slower speed.

DDR667 or 533 would be suggested with two mixed kits.
