Question for RAM GUY

Hello I am writing here again.

I have some problem with H100i.

I own first "revision" of cooler. What come with old fans and first firmware.

My first problem was high pitched sound but i fixed him with PWM fans.

But there is still something wrong with cooler.

I have big vibration from cooler,I thought PWM fans fix that but nope.

I have latest fresh install of CL2 and updated fm 1.05.

This sound is very frustrating and sometimes you hear more sometimes less.

But its still rated loud.

What can do with him ?

RMA or its any fix for vibration ?

Iam not sure but i think its going from fans .. It seems like cooler have something wrong with voltage i dont know. I had vibration with old and too with new PWM fans.

 

Can you try plugging the fans into your motherboard to see if they make the same noise?

I would check the pump's rpm in the BIOS and see it is running within expected range.

 

Also, did you make sure that the pump is properly seated? or at least properly installed? like no movement at all when fitted.

The pump seems to be ok. Have you tried connecting it to a different SATA connector from the PSU?

 

I am trying to imagine how bad the vibration is, because there will be a slight vibration coming from the pump which is an indication that the pump is working, but if its up to the point where it is annoying and if the pump is literally shaking then that is not normal. I would get the unit replaced.

I would suggest that you get this unit replaced. Try taking it back to your re seller and see if you can swap it out OR you can use the link on the left start an RMA process so we can get you a replacement.

Tech Supp approved my RMA with ticket number #6013372. RAM GUY my last question is about shipping. Becouse when i try calculate shipping cost from Slovakia to Netherland its a big price. And i wont pay for defective product. Is there any possibility ?
