NoahP
What do I do? It happened 3 days ago and a headset restart fixed it but now nothing is working. Restarting,Unplugging and new drivers. Nothing. Do I need to RMA again?
Toasted
Try the headset on another computer. Does it still have the robotic sound?
TeslaMonger
If it's over a VOIP such as Skype, TeamSpeak, or Ventrillo, it's likely to be your internet connection. Try recording an audio sample with Windows Sound Recorder. Open your start menu and search "Sound Recorder"
NoahP
Did that. Still going robotic. My internet is fine. I got 163 down and 47 up.
orphenshadow
I have the same issue with my headset in teamspeak 3.. In my case, I'm playing world of tanks talking on TS3 with my buddies.. then I occasionally lose sound for about a half a second or so, when it returns the Mic is all robotic. I can close TS3 and Re-open it and it clears it up. This has happened about 5 times since I got the headset about 2 weeks ago. It's pretty annoying and I would imagine is probably driver related. Hopefully there will be a new driver released soon that will fix this as well as bring the dolby 7.1 support.

andreaz70
Hello All! Thats not regarding the program you're using. It seems to be a connection Problem or something. I have the same issue sometimes and you can also hear it, when you loopback the mic to hear your own voice. Plug out and in the receiver or reconnect (switching off and on) the headset solves it till the next reboot. Regards, Andreas
Toasted
It might be a faulty dongle if it resolves it self when it unplugged/replugged.
andreaz70
Ramguy, is it maybe possible, that my dongle isnt intact? When i pull it out and stick it back in for some times, anytime ist working then... But sometimes i get those robotic voice too... It sounds as if the channel hopping isnt in sync anymore...
