VasVas
My brand new H100i works great and I'm very happy with it but recently noticed this on the plastic block cover :confused: Looks like a spider web crack under the plastic (if you know what I mean). http://s22.postimage.org/4b758vqw1/photo.jpg
wytnyt
looks to me like the corner of the block was pressed too hard resulting in a plastic compromise
VasVas
looks to me like the corner of the block was pressed too hard resulting in a plastic compromise I was very careful installing the block, it's hard to describe but the plastic block is not cracked at all, looks more like there is a black film applied (with the corsair logo) under a the transparent plastic block and some air is trapped between the plastic and the film. wytnyt
im not inferring you pressed too hard in no way but at any rate id certainly keep an eye on it.id also submit a rma for a replacement and get it taken care of.
curlysir
Have you peeled the protective film off the block?
VasVas
Have you peeled the protective film off the block? I did! I can only see this crack mark in a very bright room or when I turn the led on the H100i on..
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 19, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 19, 2013 I can't really see for sure but if its indeed a crack, I would strongly suggest that you get that unit replaced right away. Use the link on the left to start your RMA process.
