F4U
Hi, Please bare with me if this has been posted before. I'm about to buy 500R and wondering if those hard drive cages fans can lower the temp a little bit. Thanks. BTW, I found this yesterday. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=109344 Is that true only the white version has the top filter and black one doesn't? wytnyt
it stands to reason that a steady airflow will pull heat from a radiating surface and therefore aid in the cooling process i have the same case with probes sealed on the hd surface and i can see the temp drop when i spin up a fan. I was just a kid back then:bigeyes: i have a push/pull on each set of 3 drives but they never go above minimum fan rpm,but could if ever needed i have 9 fans in one and 10 in the other yeah tandy was one of my first computers, that along with a commodore no hard drives ,you had to swap floppys in order to run a program, lol

I have a pair of corsair AF120 performance(now on my side panel). I can get a pair of SP120 for HDD cage. 9 or 10 fans in the case is my goal when i get free time next month:laughing: Tandy must cost you a fortune. (in the 80s'?). I was completely computer illiterate then. Some of my college mates had Apple II in early 80s. Also swap 5.25 floopy when running program. Never heard of the term "hard drive" as well.
