pinguu
I have problems with the Corsair Vengeance 2000 driver under Win8. I just installed the driver like in the one thread, with compatibility-mode Windows 7 and as administrator. The software installed normally, but i got no sound. I just tried reinstalling and delete the old drivers + restart a couple of times. No success yet. The driver also seems normally in the device manager. With the normal sound-drivers from Microsoft under win8 i got no problems, but i want to use the special software from corsair. Maybe you got some help for me. Thanks! pinguu
Ye, it is. And if i try to "play a test sound" on it via the windows control panel it says something like "problem with playing the test sound".

Toasted
How did you install the driver? By following the instructions on this thread? http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=111795 If so, try this. Extract the V2000 installer. A folder should popup named "U6302-120514-7.0.1.55(W7-ER-01)" double click it Set the compatibility to Windows 7 and run the installer as admin. Restart your computer. Does it work now? pinguu
Great! Worked with the extracted installer. Only "Xbox Music" seems to dont want to work with it now. Got the error "0x00d11cd (0x8000ffff)". But i think for that problem you are not really responsible. Thank you anyway!
Toasted
Google the error code and see if you can find a resolution for it.
