Vengeance 8gb x 1 - PC boot loop

After Googling the Motherboard, it sure sounds like it does support a 8 GB RAM (Dual channel DDR3 1333/1066 x 2 DIMMs, Max. 8GB) But since my operating system is 32 BIT, maybe even if it did work, will it only show 4GB usable RAM?

You cant use an 8 gig module with that chipset. A 4gig module would be the largest you could run. Your MB supports 8 gig max so that would have to be a 2x4gig congig.

But yes, even if it would work wit windows 32bit it would only show 3.25gigs or real close to it. Not even the full 4 gigs.

Thank you so much, so i am going to have to see if i can manage to get a 4 gb x 2 in return for 8 gb x 1. I was still living in a world where i thought you can put any DDR3 ram into any PC motherboard and it would still work :P

thanks man, have a great day.

peanutz94 give you the reason that your system don't boot

But look at Foxconn H55MXV Series (CPU 1) spec.

http://www.foxconnchannel.com/ProductDetail.aspx?T=motherboard&U=en-us0000488

It suport Dual channel DDR3 1333/1066/800 x 2 DIMMs, Max. 8GB

So 4x4GB. But your mother board is limited at 1333MHZ memory speed. so it may not support 1600MHZ and higher memory.

Hope this help

Sinserly yours

Use chipset driver from Intel websit is not a bad idea . as ther up to

9.3.0.1026 vs 9.1.1.1020 from Foxconn.
