Flashing Drives

Trickz

Recommended Posts

I've got the AX760i all looks great however the software CorsairLink 2 is showing 2 flashing drives. The 2 Flashing drives are both western digital. I am not sure what it is or what the problem is, if anyone could redirect me into solving this problem that would be great, thank you.

Also is the Corsair Link Digital flashing green and orange normal? thank you again

they probably dont have smart and or arent readable,i too have 3 out of 10 drives that wont read.you can hide or delete if desired

They are new drives I believe. Drive 4 is a samsung spin point f3 1TB, which I bought in 2011 and it shows?

Do you know about the green/orange flashing LED light?

Thanks for the response

Even newer drives do not have smart especially if they are consumer grade drives. Also just because you bought it in 2011 does not mean it was not made in 2009. It just means price finally came down to move out old stock. For the most part only enterprise grade drives 2011 and newer have true smart support, as do some higher end consumer ones, but its hit or miss. Im sure you didn't spend 600$ on a 1tb drive.
