EVGA z68ftw vs 1866 Dominator!

First off I am new to these forums so hello and thanks for having me!

And now my issue, This is my true first build from scratch and I am really new to BIOS and all that jazz. Anyway I have CMD16GX3M2A1866C10 Corsair Dominator 16gb (2x8) 1866 and I cant (or don't know how) to get it to run at 1866. EVGA just released a new BIOS for the MOBO and I tried tinkering with the XMP Profiles and I get an error and cant get back to the BIOS without resetting my CMOS. Can someone please help me with the steps I would need to take to get my memory to run correctly? I wont be able to check back in til around 4:36pm CST but if someone could help I will thank you profusely at that time. And thank you in advance just to start.

All you should have to do is load set-up defaults and then enable XMP. But try setting the Memory voltage to 1.55v or 1.6 if need be but no higher than that.

If It's not working you could try setting them manually to the specs on the sticks.

I thought I posted a reply earlier but was it the R21 BIOS? I checked their forums really quickly and people are having XMP problems in general (even with competitor's modules). You may want to see if its a bad BIOS update.

I havent tried adjusting it the votage, ill try that next. And yes its the R21 and I have also tried it on the R16 and R15 betas and full release. It's all good I just ordered myself an EVGA z77 ftw we will see if that fixes it.

And once again I truly appreciate the help
