Toasted
Is the drive plugged into a AMD SATA III 6.0Gb/s port? If so, the ATTO results are great. Backup your data and secure erase the drive with Parted magic then reinstall Windows. Make sure AHCI is enabled in the BIOS before installing Windows. Torpe
Is the drive plugged into a AMD SATA III 6.0Gb/s !!!!! I installed win7 again with AHCI enabled, it will send the risultai, I update the firmware??http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/9507/immagine2tqj.png
Toasted
Did you secure erase the drive with Parted magic? If yes, try a different SATA data cable and port. There hasn't been a FW update that improve performance. but if it's outdated it doesn't hurt to update it if you want.
Torpe
I did not use Parted Magic, I can do without reformat? I update the bios? without losing data? buy a new cable to try ..... I have this monterboard: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/960GMU3S3%20FX/
Toasted
A secure erase will restore the drives performance. Updating the BIOS will not cause the HD's data to be lost. Use a SATA data cable that should have been included with your motherboard.

Toasted
Sorry, i didn't see the Asrock website listed the ASMedia controller under SATA3. Unfortunately, you are not seeing the SSD speeds at its advertised speeds as it is probably limited by the third party controller. The drive being 111GB is normal. Torpe
so it should depend on the controller, as I imagined, I should change the motherboard? If so, this would be fine?? ASUS M5A87 AMD ® SB850 controller has a Thanks ...... or should I update the firmware of the controller?? I found it here ..... http://www.station-drivers.com/page/asmedia.htm tnks!!!! Toasted
You can try the FW update out but it may/may not help. As for the motherboard, As long as they are not controller by a third party controller it should be fine. but i should also note that AMD chipsets are a but slower than Intel chipsets. You may/may not see the full advertised speeds but close to it.
