I thought it was a bird outside at first then I finally discovered it was coming from the power supply. I did the paperclip test and the fan would spin at start then it would stop. Like right now the fan is not spinning at all. I just purchased this from newegg on 1/28/13 and just installed it about 3 weeks ago so I am out of the 30 day warranty from newegg. I had to wait for the money to get the rest of my parts. I opened a rma but I didnt know if the ones that were having problems with theirs is the same as the way I described mine. My rma case number is 5713301. I cannot be without my pc for any amount of time because I do web graphic design and my work is done 100% from this computer. Yes, you can get a new one sent to you first and since it is just a little over 30 days old Corrsair may even pick up the shipping for you too. They know there is an issue with the hx650 and the rep was going to replace my unit with a hx750 but it was out of stock so they upgraded me to the hx850 at no additional charge. This goes to show how great the customer support of Corsair really is. I will continue to purchase Corsair products and I will recommend them to my friends also.
