Hangar34 Posted March 8, 2013 Share Posted March 8, 2013 Hi, I am currently helping a friend of mine to learn some basic IT and PC upgrading skills and we would like to increase the RAM in a older Compaq machine. The rig is a Compaq SR5000 and features an ASUS P5LP-LE motherboard. I have searched for both the manufacturer's product code and ASUS' product code using the online memory finder, but neither are listed. I believe that the following memory kit should work as it meets all the specifications of the motherboard: VS2GBKIT667D2 Can someone please confirm whether the above RAM kit is compatible with the ASUS P5LP-LE motherboard or not?
