GGKayoh
Today, I just bought a Corsair Vengeance 1500 Headset, and everything has been working well EXCEPT for the mic... The Sensitivity of the mic for whatever reason is just awful. I have to turn it all the way up to max just to even hear myself, With the mic right up to my mouth. Could this be a faulty mic or is it just something to do with the drivers. I'm on Windows 8-64Bit
Toasted
Use a recording tool e.g. http://vocaroo.com/ and talk normally. Can you hear yourself?
GGKayoh
Yeah, but I'm still having the same problem. The sensitivity is just really funky. At max it's still quiet with the Mic maybe an inch from my mouth
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 8, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 8, 2013 Try it on a different system and if the issue persists, we can replace it for you.
GGKayoh
So I've tested it, and the sensitivity problem only applies in windows 8, i've tried it on windows 7 and it worked perfectly fine. What do I do? I installed the drivers and everything. however on a side note I did notice that it said that my drivers were not signed on windows 8. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 10, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 10, 2013 We don't have native Windows 8 support yet unfortunately but I'll pass this on the Audio team to list it as a bug.
GGKayoh
You wouldn't possibly be able to give me an ETA on when the new drivers will come out will you :(
