xplcs
just purchased the v2000 headset, sound quality is worse than the 1500 and the headset is losing connection unless i put the dongle right next to my head. i have updated sound drivers corsair drivers everything still no fix. I imagine its just a dodgy dongle and needs replacing, how do i go about this
Cyant
I can go 2 room away and still hear the music very clear, unless i start the microwave and stand next to it. I love the hardware (other than the cracks). I guess theres a problem with the dongle or the headset. Or could be something interfering at your house. Try them at a friend house maybe? The sound is great and thats comming from Tritton AX PRO (real 5.1 channels) thanks to the big drivers in the Vengeance 2000. Unfortunately the drivers positional audio is crap tho... Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 7, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 7, 2013 Yes if the dongle is bad, you'll see a drastic reduction in range. Put in a RMA request and give me your case number so I can process you a replacement dongle without having to mail in the headset.
