PrayingWithFire
My Vengeance 1500 headset has the right channel just drop out. By slightly bending the cable at the point where it connects to the headset, I can make the sound return. This is not the first time this has happened, and it is not due to physical damage. I had a set of HS1 USB that this also happened to. The headset has never been dropped, nor has it ever had anything spilled on it. I am the only one who uses it and if it is not on my head, it is resting on my desk. I am a little disappointed that I am running into this issue again. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 6, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 6, 2013 Put in a RMA request and we can replace it. Do the wires ever get tangled?
PrayingWithFire
They don't really get tangled... but they do twist up on their own a bit. Every headset I have ever had seems to do that. Never could make any sense of it... I take them off and put them on the exact same way, never turning it around. Submitting an RMA.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 8, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 8, 2013 What I do is that when I'm done with them, I try to untwist it so the end that goes into the headset (or the USB control) doesn't become taut. Just let it spin back to normal and you won't have issues where the cable can be torn off or get loose.
