csemoses
Anyone else have corsair link 2 pop up from the system tray when alt-tabbing out of a fullscreen game? This is a very annoying bug that i'd appreciate being fixed. AKIAK there's no setting to force it to stay minimized to the system tray.
csemoses
ah, sorry, forgot to add this: yes, corsair link 2 does start windows minimized. It looks like it tries to start open, then gets minimized by it's settings, and then sent to the system tray.
Jarod997
Yes, I'm getting this too - very annoying. In the settings I have selected "Start Minimized" but when it starts it's in the task bar. I have to maximize it then hit the minimize button to get it to go down to the system tray. If it's in the system tray and I'm full-screen in a game (say World of Tanks) with a voice chat client running (say Teamspeak3), and I tab out, the CorsairLink 2 software pops up - even if I had not had that window open in the last 4-5 program switches. csemoses
Wow, a reply! i'm sure we arent the two only folks to get this issue. Anyone have a solution?
Speed
Yes. Don't start the CL2 UI at Windows start. If the SW is installed correctly, the monitoring application is started by Task Scheduler at logon. Once you have a profile defined, that is all that is needed to keep the temperatures where you want them. The UI can be manually started and closed at any time, but it isn't needed to run the cooler and assorted case/gpu fan speeds.
csemoses
Ahh, very nice. Just unchecked launch at startup/start minimized, rebooted, and double checked that the Sierra2GPU process is indeed running - so the profile i've selected etc. should still be active. Thanks for your info!
sinnedone
so the profile i've selected etc. should still be active. Thanks for your info! Only if its grouped to the H100i temp. If you have your fans grouped to your cpu temps they wont stick unless you launch CL.
