Corsair Link Commander/Lighting Node

Just got the full Corsair Link kit (already had a H100i and AX860i) and have installed them, and in the process of installing the latest firmwares.

The Commander, and the Cooling Node updated perfectly. But when I try and update the Lighting Node, it goes through the bootloader process then says "Failed to Reset Node" then it tells me it can't be recognised, and asks me to unplug/plug in my molex power and try again. It then recognises it and the whole process starts again.

I have Corsair Link Commander on 2.0.6, Cooling Node on 1.2.5, H100i on 1.0.4 with new fans, and trying to update Lightning Node to 1.1.9:(:

Here is the device menu.

I am aware I am running 2.2.0, but I used 2.1.1 to update the Commander and Nodes. I then uninstalled 2.1.1 and re-installed 2.2.0 as the guides have stated to do so. My LEDs are currently working, but have to be changed manually.

I would delete any saved profiles and then UN-install C-Link 2.2.2.0 and reboot and then down load Version 2.1.1 and before you install it right click on the file and select compatibility with Windows 7 32 Bit. Then try and check the Lighting node shows up and what F/W is on the lighting node and update it as needed. then reverse the process and uninstall 2.1.1. reboot and install 2.20 in the same way or it will not work in Windows 8. Officially we do not sup[port Windows 8 at this time.

Toasted, tried that before I posted it. Didn't want any of it haha

RAM GUY, I have been doing the 2.1.1 for F/W (that's how I did the commander and cooling node) but haven't tried doing in compatibility mode. I'll try when I get home in an hour and post results.

Thanks

And now, I get on the PC and they've randomly decided to work! After all the shutting down, resetting, uninstalling business of yesterday haha

EDIT: Here's the picture now. Either it shipped with 1.1.9, or somehow it rebooted with the F/W because that was the last step it needed to be updated. Either way, it's working now without any problems.
