ifreakyftw
Hey guys I'm new to this forum! :D, I've bought a h80i about 2 months ago, the unit ran very very well, I was impressed at first altough the fans were very noisy. The first time I mounted the h80i everything went well, but when I bought a new case and re mounted it, one of the screws wouldn't go in to the radiator anymore and would just keep spinning. I did a second remount afterwards because I realised that I had installed my fans in the wrong order, boom. Second screw thread doesn't screw in anymore, 3 mounts with this thing and its already broke!! Afterwards I installed corsair link because I wanted to try out the led control features since I have a blue and white based theme in my computer. Everything went well, but after about 5 days I noticed my led kept pulsing red, so I went in to the corsair link software and tried to set a fixed color with no success. I am really unsure if to RMA this because of the sheer cost of the shipping, or just buying another closed loop like an NZXT Kraken or a h100i. I'd appreciate any help with RMA's and general info, thanks!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 5, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 5, 2013 Sorry to hear that. It would be best to get the unit replaced. Please use the link on the left to submit an RMA request. The screw hole alone on the radiator is enough for me to say that a replacement is needed.
