Ok I just got my H100i this morning and installed it wanted to know a few things about the link software

1. Is there any tutorials on how to setup the software so it can manage the fans speeds or is it automatic? as I'm not sure its setup correctly.

2. Any way to stop it making my drives click apart from setting the sierra service to manual

3. any idea on when we may see a win8 version of the software?

3a. There is no support for Windows 8 at this time, sorry but do not have an ETA but it should be available in the next few months.

2a. Not clear on what you are asking can you post a screen shot of the drives that click apart?

1a. Do a search on Youtube there are a few Videos and we are working on more software tutorials now.

Ok let me make it more clearer

1. The sierra2service accessing the HDDS when its running is this safe? (drives clicking issue)

2. Will the above issue cause my SSDs life to lower?

3. Is there away to stop this service accessing the HHDs on my system other than setting the service to manual?

4. Is there any tweaks to fix this problem?

5. is it possible to get access to the beta software?

What O.S. are you using and how did you install the software and what version of corsair Link is installed?

And yes you should be able to disable logging in the Link software.

Lets see where you are at with the O.S. and software then we can work on Tweaks.

Win8 64bit and CL 2.2.0 installed with troubleshooter using win7 compatibility. Logging is disabled but im still hearing the drives clicking with the service running

windows 8 under capability mode is hit or miss. It is not supported (and should be clearly made when purchasing which it is not) For some people it works for others it does not but officially it is unsupported at this time.
