neuspeed
I have an ASRock 970 Extreme 3 with 16 gigs of vengeance 1600, and a FX-4100. If I allow the system to auto detect the processor speed and RAM, It shows the correct timings. However, if I manually configure the processor speed to be OC'ed, the speed of RAM decreases from DDR3-1600 to DDR3-800. I set the processory multiplier to 18.5 and speed spectrum to 217 to get 4,014 (stock 3600). I leave the DRAM Frequency to Memory Profile 1 selected and upton rebooting, the speed has changed from 1600 down to 800. My system works ok but I'm not sure why the speed of the memory is being reduced. Any ideas?
